Financial Gifts

Thanks to the generosity of our many donors, we are able to carry out the special projects that help the community we serve.

The Banquet is a non-profit 501©(3) organization. We do not receive any money from federal, state, city, or county governments or the United Way. Cash and material donations are relied upon to pay for milk, coffee and juice; supplies and equipment; and staffing and building costs. All donations are tax deductible. All of The Banquet’s special projects are paid for directly with monetary donations and materials given.

If you plan on making a contribution to The Banquet Endowment please make your checks payable directly to The Banquet Endowment.

Funds raised support The Banquet Endowment held by the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. The Banquet Endowment is a permanent endowment held by the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation. The endowment is protected from obsolescence, that is, if the purpose for which it was created becomes obsolete or if making distributions from it becomes impossible, unnecessary, or inconsistent with community needs, SFACF’s Board of Directors will select a similar use for distribution that will most nearly meet the charitable intent of the fund. Your gift to this endowment is irrevocable. If you do not wish to make a gift to such a fund please contact the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation.
