The Banquet Serves 150,000 meals in 2012

The Banquet volunteers are a blessing. You served more than 150,000 meals last year. You provided 6,500 backpacks filled with school supplies for children in and around Sioux Falls. Although it's impossible to know exactly how many volunteers hours are logged at The Banquet, our research shows your work is equal to 30 full time employees! Thank you for your commitment to the guests of The Banquet.

 Terrific Tuesdays at Wild Water West Waterpark
The Banquet provides area students with essential school supplies. Many dedicated individuals, businesses, churches and other organizations contribute to make this project a tremendous success. The Banquet has given more than 6,400 school supply packets to students this current school year.  Ninety percent of those supplies are given to students right here in the Sioux Falls School District. The Banquet is the only agency that provides school supplies for students in need.  Although our biggest push for supplies comes just before the start of the school year, The Banquet collects items for Project: S.O.S. year round. You can assist by making a monetary donation or donating supplies.

  • 24-count colored pencils
